Established in May 2011, the Tasker Insurance Group is an insurance intermediary with a specialist retail broker, Tasker Insurance Brokers, a wholesale Lloyd’s Broker, Tasker & Partners, and Managing General Agent, Gresham Underwriting. Employing 100+ staff in five UK offices the Group provides insurance broking and risk management solutions to businesses and their people, as well as wholesale broking support to other UK and Irish Brokers.

During Alcuin’s ownership, Tasker continued its succession expansion, achieving strong organic growth, including the establishment of a European business, Tasker Brokers Europe, and through making a number of complimentary acquisitions.

The business now trades from 5 offices across the UK and has recognised specialisms within the Tour Operators and Travel, PI and Medmal, Technology and Life Sciences, Hospitality and Leisure and specialist Motor business sectors providing insurance broking, products and risk management services to clients and other brokers across the UK and internationally, including a number of household names.

Robert Organ, CEO of Tasker, said: “During our time with Alcuin we have grown to become a top 50 UK Insurance Broker, with Gresham, our underwriting business being recognised as a 5 Star business. We have come along way from our more humble roots as a Lloyd’s and London market focused broker. I am grateful for Alcuin’s continued support and guidance over the 10 years they have invested in us. I am also immensely proud of what the team have achieved and excited that we are joining The Jensten Group, a very complimentary business with similar ambitions. Together, I have no doubt, we can become a recognised leader within our industry.”

Nick Seaman, partner at Alcuin Capital, said: “We are very pleased with our investment in Tasker and the outcome achieved. Our investment enabled the business to consummate a number of transformational acquisitions and the firm has taken a leap forward in terms of the depth of its specialism, client portfolio and appeal as an employer of top talent. We’ve been privileged to support Rob and his team and wish them every success for the future as part of the Jensten Group.”
